Amy Atkins
Hi, I'm Amy - the Photographer and Videographer behind Detail In The Everyday.
I'm the kind of person who notices the stuff most people miss - the quick glance, the weird bit of light, the tiny moments that somehow end up meaning everything. That's basically what I'm always chasing with a camera.
I filmed my first wedding in 2017 and, honestly, I haven't put my camera down since. Since then I've worked on a bit of everything from commercial, documentary to reality TV, music and sport. I like to keep things interesting.
I love travelling, probably more than is practical, because nothing resets your perspective like being somewhere new. Different people, different energy - it keeps things fresh and keeps me curious.
Detail In The Everyday is all about exactly that - finding the good stuff in what's already happening. No forced moments, no awkward posing - just real, honest storytelling as it unfolds.
I'm not here for perfect. I'm here for the moments you didn't even realise were happening.
When I'm not filming or shooting, I'm usually off somewhere new or planning the next trip.
